#9: Abolition
Thursday Feb 11, 2021
Thursday Feb 11, 2021
On this week’s episode we scratch the surface of the Abolition Movement spanning from the American Revolution through the Civil War.
We highlight some of the motivations and catalysts for the cause -- from the Second Great Awakening to the House of Representatives -- as well as some conductors of the Underground Railroad, like Harriet Tubman.
We also take a peak behind a door that leads to a chamber where one of America’s greatest statesman and champion of abolition died.
